Updating National Immunization Program – Moh Decree #1128 / 2015

Reference: CIR-2016-SHN0665

To: All private Health Care Facilities-Dubai

Based on the Ministerial Decree no. 1128/2015 and “WHO” resolution (topv to bopv); switch in our country will take place on 01/05/2016 and (topv) will no longer be used for any program.
So effective from the date of 01/05/2016 all healthcare facilities in Dubai are expecting to conform to the following:
 

§  Ensure stop using (topv)and only use (bopv) instead

§  Will entirely withdraw (topv)out of the cold chain

§  All (topv) will be removed from the cold chain and sent for safe disposal as per Dubai Municipality regulations and OPV Switch & Waste Management Committee instructions

Physical inventory will be held on (topv)  from all clinics and hospitals providing vaccination service and these facilities are required to send the report (attached  the form)  to the following email address:
